With numbers of neurodivergent students on the rise, and enrolments for 2026 higher than ever, providing succinct, current, well researched information about Autism and ADHD, based on lived experience, to support teachers, has never been more timely.

Available in person to Principals organisations’ and individual schools looking to educate their teams, or online for individual teachers interested in affordable professional development Difference Is a Thing of Beauty : Autism/ADHD - a families' lived experience is a one hour long presentation.

The presentation includes

  • my story personally, as an Autistic/ADHDer, and that of my Autistic/ADHD child;

  • the critical stages a parent goes through from diagnosis to celebration;

  • why homeschool/unschool numbers are growing;

  • other stats relating to Autistic young people around mental health outcomes, and the youth justice system;

  • the four stages of Autistic and/or ADHD life experience;

  • the difference between an Autistic/ADHD brain and non-Autistic/ADHD brain;

  • how this looks for Autistic/ADHD children in a school environment;

  • the importance of creating equity in school;

  • six easy top tips which can make a big difference for everyone in your school; and

  • what happens when we get it right.

The presentation is available for

  • audiences of up to 200 people in person, or

  • up to 25 people via Zoom/Teams.
